Have you heard? It is 2012. A new year marks new beginnings. The year of change. We have lots of plans at Knot Just Dreads including a new website and talk of new workshops. Krista will be taking over the reigns at the studio while Karen continues to travel back and forth to Iceland. No matter what, we always have your best interest at heart so do not hesitate to book with one or the other or switch it up.

My deepest condolences to the friends and family of John Steinberg.

I am truly ashamed to say I had no idea that the legendary John Steinberg passed on the 31st of August. This man was a hair prodigy and everybodys friend. His vivacious and impressive 50 year career is awe-inspiring. I will never forget the day he rode his bike over to my salon on Queen Street. He walked in, introduced himself and welcomed me to the neighbourhood. John never said a bad word about anyone and hairstylists are notorious for trash talking other hairstylists. I wish more would learn from his example. John Steinberg was 1st class all the way.
